Kathy Gori (born March 19, 1951) is an
American voice actress,
radio personality and
screenwriter.
Biography
She was born in
San Francisco,
California.
Gori did numerous voices for
Hanna-Barbera, such as Rosemary the Telephone Operator in the 1974 cartoon,
Hong Kong Phooey, Laurie in
Inch High Private Eye, Katie in
Valley of the Dinosaurs and Gidget in
Gidget Makes the Wrong Connection, as well as additional voices on
The New Tom and Jerry Show, and
Depatie-Freleng's Bailey's Comets.
She and her husband
Alan Berger are screenwriting partners and have worked at most of the major Hollywood Studios. She is currently co-writing the original screenplay,
The Apocalypse of Carl, for producer
Andrew Lazar.
Gori co-wrote two original feature comedies,
And Spaulding Gets Nothing for
Walt Disney Pictures and Andrew Gunn Productions, and
Henchman vs. Sidekick for
Revolution Studios and Broken Road Productions. She also co-wrote the 1981 feature film,
Desperate Moves and co-wrote the 2007
Warner Bros. film,
Chaos Theory, starring
Ryan Reynolds.
She also has had a successful career in radio, voice-overs and commercials. She was an all night rock jock at
KMPC in
Los Angeles, California, KIIS and TENQ. She was the Award winning co-host of Up For Air, on
KPFK radio, 1996-2000. She received the prestigious Silver Reel from the
National Federation of Community Broadcasters for best morning show of 1997.
She has done commercials for
Taco Bell,
