The party achieved the dubious honour of attaining the lowest number of votes of any party in both the 2005 general elections.
Bevin is the Party’s spokesperson on Economics, National Assets and Defence. The party obtained 344 votes across the country. He is better known as a fathers' rights and Men's movement campaigner.
Bevin was born in Whanganui, and worked as a teacher for ten years. Bevin has worked at the Men's Centre in Northcote for many years. The Centre helps fathers distressed by relationship break-ups and the ensuing problems with custody and access.
