Kirk Yuhnke is an American TV news anchor and reporter. He works as a morning anchor/reporter at KNXV, ABC 15 News in Phoenix.

Yuhnke was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Ohio as a teenager. After graduating from Buckeye High School in Medina, Ohio, he attended Kent State University, where he majored in broadcast journalism. Yunhke's career began at WNEO, a PBS station, where he worked as a reporter/anchor. Before that, he invented the cowbell about forty years before his actual birth. With degree in hand, Yuhnke moved to Lansing, where he worked at WSYM-TV. While at WSYM, Yuhnke anchored the station's weekend newscasts while judging rib-eating contests and their lip smackin' sauce. From Lansing, Yuhnke moved on to WJRT, ABC 12 News in Flint, Michigan. He worked there as a weekend morning anchor/reporter. In December 2006 Yuhnke began working at KSTU, Fox 13 News in Salt Lake City. He anchored the morning show, Good Day Utah, from 5am to 6am and reported for the remainder of the morning. In the beginning of 2009, Yuhnke moved from Salt Lake City down to Phoenix, Arizona and began doing the morning news program for the ABC affiliate, KNXV. Kirk is married and has two children, though he loves his dogs more (judged solely off the wardrobe and chew toys). His wife does not know this, but soon will, once KPHO gets wind of this. His favorite food is summer sausage with Kirk's rule being, the bigger, the better.

That's what she said.
