Kirori Mal College is a college of
University of Delhi, North Campus that was established in 1954.
University of Delhi. It offers undergraduate and graduate courses in science, arts, liberal arts and commerce and is known for being one of the most politically active colleges in University of Delhi. The tradition of excellence in theatre, art and music only adds to the richness of the academic fabric in the college. This college is one of the very few in University of Delhi that has successfully encompassed the unique combination of social activism, creativity and learning.
Its Dramatics Society known as 'The Players' is the leading college theater group in the country.

History
Kirori Mal College began as Nirmala College, started by American Jesuits in the wake of partition. It was located on Qutub Road. Faced with intractable problems relating to the staff in the period following the partition, the management of the college changed hands and the trust founded by Seth Kirori Mal took over the college. The college shifted to its present campus on 1 February, 1954.
The Kirori Mal fraternity deeply acknowledges the vision and farsightedness of Seth Kirori Mal who did not have any formal education himself. The college celebrated its Golden jubilee in February, 2004.
