Kooyong Stadium, at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club, is a tennis venue, located in Melbourne, Australia. The stadium was built in 1927 and has a capacity of 8,500.
It was the venue for the Australian Open, whenever that tournament was held in Melbourne, becoming the permanent venue in 1972. The tournament was moved to Melbourne Park in 1988. The surface was grass courts. Now a hard-court surface, remains the venue for the AAMI Classic exhibition tournament.
