Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology

Krishna Institute Of Engineering And Technology (KIET) is a private engineering institute affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Gautam Buddha Nagar situated near the old Ghaziabad city in the National Capital Region of India approximately from Delhi. The college aims to creating engineers for industry. It is one of the best engineering colleges of the state of Uttar Pradesh. It maintains a very good placement record. Companies like infosys, wipro,tcs,l&t and many others visit it frequently.

KIET is located 30 km from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh border, on the Ghaziabad-Meerut highway, 13 km from Ghaziabad towards Meerut.

History

The institute was started in 1998 under the aegis of the Krishna Charitable Trust. The college was then affiliated to the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra. Later it came under UPTU after the latter was formed. After the university was bifurcated, it came under the jurisdiction of the newly formed Mahamaya Technical University.
