Jack (Jackie Chan), a renowned professor of archaeology at the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi'an, teams up with young Indian professor Ashmita and assistant Kyra to locate India's lost Magadha treasure in Tibet.
Principal photography began in Beijing in September, before moving to Xi'an and Dubai on 27 September and ended on 30 October. Filming then continued in Beijing and India in December. Filming also took place in Iceland.
The rights to the film have been sold for distribution across the world. In Asia, the rights have been sold to distributors in India, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. Outside of Asia, the film will be sold to the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Italy, Russia, Latin America, Turkey and the Middle East.
