List of descendants of Joseph Smith, Sr. and Lucy Mack Smith

• Joseph Smith, Sr. was born July 12, 1771 in Topsfield, Massachusetts to Asael Smith and Mary Duty. At the age of 24, he married Lucy Mack in Tunbridge, Vermont on January 24, 1795. They had eleven children together. He was one of the Eight Witnesses of the Book of Mormon's Golden Plates and was the first Presiding Patriarch of the early Latter Day Saint church. He died September 14, 1840 in Nauvoo, Illinois at the age of 69.
• Lucy Mack Smith was born July 8, 1775, in Gilsum, New Hampshire to Solomon Mack (a Revolutionary War veteran) and Lydia Gates. At the age of 20, she married Joseph Smith, Sr. in Tunbridge, Vermont on January 24, 1795. They had eleven children together. She is perhaps best remembered for her biography of her son, Joseph Smith, Jr. She died May 14, 1856 at the age of 81.

* Alvin Smith was born February 11, 1798 in Tunbridge, Vermont. Alvin took a leading role in helping the Smith family work toward paying their debts and building their home. He died November 19, 1823 in Palmyra, New York at the age of 25. He never married, and he had no descendants. A vision claimed by his younger brother Joseph is said to have included Alvin and played a significant role in the establishment of the Mormon doctrine of...... ...
