League structures

All women's leagues in England are part of a pyramid structure with the FA Women's Premier League being the pinnacle. Leagues become gradually more regional the further down the pyramid you go.

The Women's football in England pyramid has 8 steps upon it.

FA Women's Super League Division - Step 1

The following clubs are in the FA WSL for the 2011 season:
