The Inception took place on October 26, 2001 (and aired in the United States on January 6, 2002) from the Sydney Superdome in Sydney, Australia.

• Juventud Guerrera defeated Psicosis in a Ladder match for the WWA International Cruiserweight Championship (the match was also a first round match in the tournament for the WWA Championship) (8:11)
• Guerrera retrieved the belt after a sunset flip powerbomb and a 450° splash off the ladder.
• B.G. James defeated Konnan in a Dog Collar Match (this match was a first round match in the tournament for the WWA Championship) (3:39)
• James touched all four corners to win the match after tying Konnan up with the chain.
• Norman Smiley defeated Crowbar in a Hardcore match (9:54)
• Smiley pinned Crowbar with a roll-up.
• Buff Bagwell won a 6-Man Battle royal also featuring Disco Inferno, Stevie Ray, Norman Smiley, Crowbar and Jerry Lawler (this match was a first round match in the tournament for the WWA......
