LOHAS Park (日出康城) is a planned mass residential development of the
MTR Corporation, situated in
Tseung Kwan O Area 86,
New Territories,
Hong Kong. Upon its completion, it will be the largest residential development in the territory.
Name and concept
Formerly named "
Dream City", it was renamed LOHAS Park.
LOHAS is an acronym for "lifestyle of health and sustainability". The Chinese name means literally "sunrise
Cannes".
The
MTR had designated as an 'environmental protection city' when planning for it began in 2002. After the

a landfill close to the development, and it is hoped that the problem of smell could be mitigated by town planning.
