Lokhandwala is a large residential and commercial area in
Oshiwara village of
Andheri,
Mumbai,
India. It is located approx 8 km from
Andheri station (Andheri (w)). The name 'Lokhandwala' comes from the name of the developer the construction firm of Lokhandwala Constructions Pvt. Ltd. , the primary developers of the suburb of
Versova which previously had been basically a marshland.
