Lord Ivar Alexander Michael Mountbatten, DL (born London, 9 March 1963) is the younger son of the 3rd Marquess of Milford Haven and Janet Mountbatten, Marchioness of Milford Haven (formerly Janet Bryce). He is a younger brother of the 4th Marquess of Milford Haven.
He is one of the godfathers of Lady Louise Windsor, the daughter of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and his wife, the former Sophie Rhys-Jones. He is also a direct descendant of Catherine the Great.
He married Penelope Anne Vere Thompson (born 17 March 1966), on 23 April 1994 in Clare in Suffolk. They have three daughters:
They live at Bridwell Park, in the village of Uffculme, Devon.
