Madonna di Campiglio () is a village and a ski resort in northeast Italy. It is a frazione of the comune of Pinzolo. <!-- but extends into Ragoli??? --> The village lies in the Val Rendena at an altitude of 1,522 m. It has some 1,000 inhabitants.
It is today most certainly Italy’s number one ski resort as well as one of the most important resorts in the Alps.The variety of its mountain surroundings mean that in winter it is possible to ski over countless kilometres of runs, up to an altitude of 2600 metres and with different degrees of difficuly.Today the Ski Area can boast 57 lifts and 150 km of ski runs, with a capacity of more than 31,000 people per hour, 50,000 sq m of snow park, 40 km for Nordic skiing and, from the next winter 2011/2012, the link up to the pistes in Pinzolo (since it is already possible to ski the link to Folgarida and Marilleva).
