Description:
Mandalay Bay Events Center is a 12,000 seat indoor arena, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, on the Las Vegas Strip, in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned by MGM Resorts International.
It has hosted many music, boxing and mixed martial arts events.
It also hosted the Latin Grammy Awards in 2007, 2009 and 2010. It will be hosting the Latin Grammy Awards until 2012. VH1 held the first two Rock Honors ceremonies in this facility in 2006 and 2007.
The arena also hosted Crüe Fest on August 1, 2008.
As of August 2011 the Mandalay Bay Events Center has held twenty UFC events with plans to hold a twenty first (33, 44, 46, 47, 48, 51, 57, 58, 61, 62, 64, 67, 74, 79, 81, 86, 100, 106, 109, and 126).
