Every year students of NITIE participate in Mandi (Marketing AND Innovation), a unique activity meant to help MBA students think out of the text books. Students are given a fixed inventory of educational toys which they have to sell off in a day on the streets of Mumbai. These toys are manufactured by a NGO 'Navnirmiti' that works for destitute children.
