Mannan is a 1992 Indian Tamil language film starring Rajinikanth, Kushboo, Manorama, Pandari Bai, Goundamani, Vijayashanti and Visu. The film is a remake of the 1986 hit Kannada film Anuraaga Aralitu starring Dr. Rajkumar

Plot

Krishnan (rajini) is a kind-hearted poor man who works as a wielder in the factory owned by shanthidevi (vijayshanti), a rich and arrogant lady who rules it as a iron hand. krishnan works only to cure his ailing mother (pandaribai) whom he respects and admires a lot. due to an incident where he saves shanthi from a machine, shanti slaps him for misintrepreting as misbehaving. krishnan slaps her for being too arrogant. shanthi decides to marry krishnan. krishnan accepts it. krishnan refuses to be a owner even though being a husband of a rich lady, shanthi is still arrogant and not allowing him to go to office. how krishnan reforms her forms the story.
