Mardi Gras Casino and Resort

Mardi Gras Casino and Resort is a casino located in an enclave of the city limits of Nitro, West Virginia, although it is actually located several miles from that city and is generally thought of as being in the unincorporated community of Cross Lanes, West Virginia. It is located just off the Cross Lanes exit of I-64, 14 miles west of Charleston, West Virginia and 36 miles east of Huntington, West Virginia.

It features table games, slot machines, live greyhound racing, and off-track betting for both greyhound and horse racing. It features several restaurants and food operations.

The facility has a Mardi Gras theme, similar to that used by the Harrah's chain of casinos, but is not owned by that corporation.

The track expanded its casino offerings in 2009, as casino gambling was legalized in 2007. It currently has a large poker room, and offers the table games of blackjack, roulette, craps, three card poker, four card poker and Let It Ride.

The casino was known previously as Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center before the addition of table games, and Tri-State Casino and Resort until the name was changed to reflect its Mardi Gras theme in July 2010.
