Micah Nathan is an American author, screenwriter, and award-winning essayist. His critically acclaimed debut novel, Gods of Aberdeen, was published in June 2005 by Simon & Schuster and became an international bestseller. In 2005 BookExpo America selected Nathan as an "Emerging Author" and GQ claimed he was one of the year's "best debuts."

Nathan's short fiction has appeared in Boston Globe Magazine, Eclectica Magazine, Bellingham Review, Diagram, Glimmer Train, The Gettysburg Review, Commonweal, and several other national publications. He has also worked under a pen name as a script doctor, his most recent a horror feature purchased by Dimension Films. In 2010, Boston University awarded Nathan the Saul Bellow Prize for Fiction.

Nathan was recently named Consulting Editor for LEMON Magazine. His second novel Losing Graceland was published by Random House in January 2011.
