Michael Anderson (differential geometer)

Michael Anderson (born 17 November 1950 in Boulder, Colorado) is a Professor of Mathematics inState University of New York at Stony Brook. He is a differential geometer working on geometrization of 3-manifolds, general relativity, Einstein metrics and AdS/CFT correspondence et cetera.

Anderson got his BA from UC Santa Barbara his MA from UC Berkeley and his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley as well.Who's Who in America 2008 Ed., Vol. 1, p. 105

Andreson is married to Myong Hi Kim and they have one child, Steven.
