Milind Soman () (born 4 November 1965) is a
Scottish-born
Indian model and actor. He was born in
Scotland and lived in
England for seven years before his family moved back to India.
Professional life
Soman is considered one of the most successful models in
India. His first significant work was as a model for Thackersey fabrics and he is perhaps best known for his part in
Alisha Chinai's hit music video,
Made in India.
Soman's films include

Asoka. In 2007 he appeared in
Bhram,
Say Salaam India and
Bheja Fry. In 2009 he acted in Sachin Kundalkar’s

Arn – The Knight Templar. He portrays
Saladin, the revered 12th-century
Kurdish leader of the
Arabs and
Muslims; he also played the titular role in the
Indian science fiction TV Series
Captain Vyom in the mid 90's.
Milind who had previously produced 'Rules-Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula' has also produced a children's television serial called 'Ghost Bana Dost'.
