Ministry of Defence

In states where the government is divided into ministries, the Ministry of Defence (or Ministry of Defense)<!-- Note, this is the official spelling of several non-US countries, like Japan and Korea) --> may refer to that part of the government responsible for matters of defence, usually including all branches of the military and is usually controlled by a Defence minister or minister of defence.
