My Living When A Python Breeder
Well I checked on the snakes last night once I obtained off. Guess what I noticed? Het Lavender male breeding a Het Lavender feminine! Sure! I can't even begin to imagine the feeling of seeing a lavender albino crawl out of the egg. I know that doesn't for sure mean eggs but it surely certain is a start. These het lav males sure have achieved all the things I've requested them and then some and on high of that they've never refused a meal even throughout the breeding season. For all the opposite males which can be running a bit of sluggish the het lavs have picked up every little bit of the slack. I can't wait to check on things when I get house at present, I'm so excited. Properly I must run and deal with some errands so I'll see you later. Until next time here some pics from last evening and today.
I simply obtained back from the Ky Herp Society meeting and it was a extremely good assembly and I realized a few issues from the speaker Matt Turner from "Selective Origins". I rudely interrupted Matt when he came to the subject of follicular improvement and palpating for follicles. I requested him if he was truly feeling follicles this early in the season and reply "sure however with the ball pythons there still very small, like pee size." Since I'm still extremely new at palpating I'll most likely need to present it just a few extra weeks till I really begin to feel anything. Matt also touched on some points in regards to the breeding season and January being a really sluggish month despite the fact that the temps are at seasonal lows things ten to gradual however ought to choose right again up next month when the temps are being introduced back up to the off season settings. That hits house with me as a result of this has been the slowest month for breeding thus far. Anyway that put me in a greater temper as a result of now I'm pondering there still is hope. Thanks Matt for coming down.
There seems to be a really positive vibe operating via the Bp group now. I can't put my finger on it but things simply really feel good. I feel it has lots to do with some actually optimistic posts concerning our hobby. Well gotta go back to work.
