Najibabad (
Hindi: नजीबाबाद;
Urdu: نجيب آباد ) is a city and a
municipal board in
Bijnor district in the
Indian state of
Uttar Pradesh. It has a railway junction and is one of the administrative blocks of the Bijnor district. It is well connected to all major cities of
Uttar Pradesh and
Uttarakhand via national highway #119 and #74 respectively.
Najibabad also has an
All India Radio station. The town is an important trade center for timber, sugar and
grain. There are manufacturing units that deal with metal, shoes,
blankets and cotton. The second largest Coca-Cola bottling plant in the country is also located in the outskirts of the city.
Najibabad has some good hotels as well. Some of them are Hotel Walia residency, Hotel Kanha Royal Salute.
