Nallur (Jaffna)

Nallur () is a small hamlet within the present day city of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. It is 3 km from downtown Jaffna. Known royally as "Singai Nagar", Nallur was the capital of the ancient Jaffna kingdom for many years. This is one of the ancient cities in Jaffna District. Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil is situated here.
