NFL, a Public Sector schedule ‘A’ and a Mini Ratna category-I company is the largest Urea producing organization in the country with 5 units namely at Panipat (Haryana), Bathinda (Punjab), Naya Nangal (Punjab) and Vijaypur (M.P.)-2 Units. The total turnover of the organization is 5100 crores Indian rupees. Total business of NFL is covered under ISO 9001:14001 OHSAS: 18001 certification. Company having the new project for up gradation of existing fuel oil based plants to gas based plants.

Overview

In the early 2000s, the government made efforts to disinvest a 51% stake to the private sector,NFL VIJAIPUR:An profit making Government undertaking organisation which producing 5240MTPD of UREA(an 46% nitrogen fertilizer).NFL is in the phase of projects which will enhance its production to 6261 MTPD. Near about 840 employee are in NFL Vijaipur including workers and officers.
