studio album,
Come Away with Me, was released in February 2002, Which met critacal acclaim, and produced three commercially released singles. The album has sold more than 10 million copies in the
United States, 1 million copies in
Canada, 3 million copies in the
United Kingdom, and over 23 million copies worldwide.
Jones' second studio album,
Feels like Home, was released in February 2004. It contains music similar to its predecessor but incorporates more country sounds. The album sold over 1 million copies in its first week in the US, and almost 2 million copies worldwide in its first week. So far the album has sold 5 million copies in the US and 12 million copies worldwide.
Jones' third studio album,
Not Too Late, was released in January 2007. The albums sold almost half a million in the US in its first week and 1 million copies worldwide in its first week. To date the album has sold 2.3 million copies in the US and over 9 million copies worldwide.
Jones released her fourth album, The Fall, on November 17, 2009, which has a more
rock-oriented sound. To date it was her least successful album and her first not to reach the top of the charts in the US.
As of June 2011 Jones has sold over 50 million records making her one of the best-selling acts of all time.
