The Otago Volts are a first class cricket team representing the Otago Cricket Association, one of six major associations that make up New Zealand Cricket.

The Otago association was formed in Dunedin 1876, almost 30 years after the first club games were played in the city. They adopted the 'Volts' name for the 1997-98 season, and their major sponsor is Ford. Otago currently competes in the Plunket Shield first class competition, the unnamed One day domestic Series and the HRV Cup.
