Description:
The Pakistan National Football Challenge Cup (NFCC) is the national "knockout" cup competition in Pakistani football, run by the Pakistan Football Federation. It was created in 2005 in place of the PFF President's Cup. It has also been called the Inter-Departmental Championship, National Departmental Championship and the Inter Provincial Championship.

Format

The Cup involves clubs from the Pakistan Premier League and Pakistan Football Federation League.

The first round of the competition is a round-robin tournament, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for knockout stage. The draw is completely at random - there are no seeds. In the knockout stages, drawn matches are settled with extra time and penalty shootouts.

Prizes

The tournament winners receive a prize of Rs. 100,000, while runner-up will walk away with Rs. 75,000. The third-placed team will be rewarded Rs. 50,000.

The most valuable player (MVP) will get Rs. 15,000 while leading marksman and best goal-keeper will pocket Rs. 10,000 each. The Fair Play trophy winners will receive Rs. 20,000.
