Patty Jenkins

Patty Jenkins is an American film director and writer born in 1971 who grew-up in Lawrence, Kansas. She attended the AFI Conservatory. Her most famous movie to date is Monster, a docudrama about Aileen Wuornos. She graduated from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 1993. On 14th July, 2011 she received a nomination for a The Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series is an Emmy presented to the best directing of a television drama series.for the Pilot of The Killing
