Peter Miles (April 1, 1938 - August 3, 2002) was an American actor and writer.

Born Gerald Richard Perreau-Saussine in Tokyo, Miles was the older brother of actress Gigi Perreau. He was educated at Beverly Hills Catholic School and graduated from Loyola High School in Los Angeles.

Miles first screen appearance was as the son of Humphrey Bogart's character in Passage to Marseille. Additional film credits include Enchantment, The Red Pony, and Quo Vadis. With the advent of television he began appearing on the small screen, guest starring in episodes of Father Knows Best, The Lone Ranger, 77 Sunset Strip, and Perry Mason, among others, and he was a regular on The Betty Hutton Show.

Using the pseudonym Richard Miles, he wrote novels, poetry, and three screenplays: They Saved Hitler's Brain, The Madmen of Mandoras, and That Cold Day in the Park.

Miles died of cancer in Los Angeles, California.
