This is a small town with located on Arrah- Sasaram main road. Piro Railway Station was introduced in year 2008, inaugrated by contemporary Rail Minister Mr. Laloo Prasad Yadav. The station lies between the newly formed Patna- Sasaram rail line via Arrah. It has two renowned goddess temples; Pitan Devi Temple & Kali Maa Temple at Balua Tola.It's densely populated from the nearby villagers. It is famous for Footwear shop and cosmetics items.Piro has mainly two roads "ARA-SASARAM" and "BIHIA" road. There is a historical place and ground called "PADAW", It is famous for Football match yearly organized by local- Piro people, most of the cultural event, political programme and other events are organized here. It is located in centre of Piro. There is Church School called 'Pushpa High School' run by Catholic Missionaries which also contains one beautiful Church. There is also government high school.
