Polish Bowling is an outdoor sport played between either two people, or two teams of either two or three people. The goal is to throw special 'polish bowling balls' onto one of three target rods, which are suspended above each other.


Polish bowling (often known as poleing) requires little equipment, which can be easily constructed it is also easy to set up. Generally, the rules can be tweaked based on how difficult the players want the game to be.


The goal of the game is to achieve a certain number of points, which may often be set a 11, 12, or 15. These points are scored through the throwing of 'polish bowling balls', which consist of two golf ball sized balls connected with rope (somewhat resembling a bolas - for this reason, the 'polish bowing ball' could also be known as a bolas), at the scoring target.The target consists of three bars, one above the other, that have an increasing number of points. The lowest bar is worth 1 point, the middle bar is worth 2 points, and the highest bar is worth 3 points. Though one set of target bars can be used, generally, 2 different targets are used, set a chosen distance apart.


The two players, or two teams (depending on how many people are playing), take turns throwing their three bolas at the their target. A round consists of one team/player throwing their three bolas at their target. Points for an individual round are not tallied until the end of a round.
