Pradeep Koneru has new facility for separating minerals from beach sand, to be located at its 14.5 sq km mine at Bhavanapadu in Srikakulam district. This involves a process of extraction of sand from the beach 100 meters beyond the high tide and then purified by using multiple levels of water treatment.
