Puducherry district

Puducherry district is one of the four districts of the union territory of Puducherry in southern India. The district occupies an area of 290 km². The district has a population of 735,332 (2001 Census).

The major towns in this district are Puducherry, Ariyankuppam, Kurumbapet and Ozhukarai.
