Rabak the capital of White Nile State of Sudan, is a city in the east of Sudan. It is located at around .


The city is, the capital of white nile state in Sudan, located on the eastern bank of the White Nile river, approximately 260 km south of Khartoum and 340 km west of Ethiopia. Rabak lies some 362 meters above sea level. Is is in the centre of Sudan and it links North of Sudan via Khartoum Rabak road and South via Al-Salam road, and it links East via Sinnar road and Western Sudan via Al-Obaid road.



Rabak was made the capital of the White Nile state in 1994.It links Northen Sudan via Khartoum Rabak road, and to the Southern Sudan via Alsalm roadIt lniks Wetern Sudan via madani road, and Western Sudan via Al Obaid road


In the city there is a cement processing company called the Nile Cement Company, which produced in 2001 50,200 tons and in 2002 41,000 tons. There is also a calcite mine nearby.
