Ramban district

Ramban District is a newly formed district of the state of Jammu and Kashmir of India.

Administration

Ramban district consists of 4 blocks: Ramban, Banihal, Gool and Ramsoo and two tehsils- Ramban & Banihal.Located along river 'Chenab' also known as 'Chanderbhaga' on National Highway-1A. Each block consists of a number of panchayats.

Politics

Ramban District has 2 assembly constituencies: Banihal and Ramban.
