Description:
Ramiz Mammadov (born 15 August 1968) was one of the best football players of Azerbaijan. Sometimes he is confused with his Muscovite colleague Ramiz Mamedov.

He played between 1992–2005 years. At his player career he played for FC Kapaz (Ganja), Garabag (Agdam), Kur (Mingacevir), Shafa (Baku), Turan (Tovuz) and etc. At the end of his career played in Iran championship. He was player of Azerbaijan national team.

Mammadov was the head coach for FK Qäbälä, before being replaced by ex-England defender Tony Adams.
