Ravi K. Chandran () is an Indian cinematographerand brother of Ramachandra Babu, one of the senior cameramaen in SouthIndian film industry. He began his career by assisting his brother and later turned into an independent cinematographer in 1992 by moving camera for Kilukkampetti a Malayalam film. Famous for his frequent collaborations with leading Indian filmmakers like Priyadarshan, Mani Ratnam, and Rajiv Menon and recently Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ravi has won the Best Cinematographer (Tamil) Award at the Filmfare Awards South in 2002 for his work on the film Kannathil Muthamittal.

Ravi K. Chandran made his debut into cinema through Malayalam films. His first film was Kilukkampetti, directed by Shaji Kailas. Later he donned camera for a few more Shaji Kailas including Thalasthanam, Sthalathe Pradhana Payyans, Ekalavyan, Mafia and The King. His entry into Tamil cinema was in 1994 through Honest Raj, a Vijayakanth movie. The film had music by Ilaiyaraaja . The film starred Vijayakanth, Gouthami, Aamini and others. The film was produced by - G Thyagarajan & G Saravanan Sathya Jothi Films
