Renova Energy

Renova Energy plc is an ethanol production, distribution and marketing company based in the Rocky Mountain region of the USA. Its headquarters are located in London and the company is currently listed on the Alternative Investments Market, a submarket of the London Stock Exchange.

Company history

Renova started business in 1992 as an ethanol marketing company, based in Idaho, USA. In 1995, a disused ethanol production facility, originally located in Louisiana, was acquired and reconstructed in Torrington, Wyoming. The plant is now operated under the name Wyoming Ethanol LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Renova Energy plc.

Renova Energy plc was incorporated in December 2004 and was admitted to the FTSE AIM All-Share Index on 10 June 2005.Due to project cost over runs on the Heyburn Idaho production facility trading was suspended on the AIM December 17, 2007.
