Richard Reid Dobell, PC (January 27, 1836 – January 11, 1902) was a Canadian businessman and politician.

Born in Liverpool, England, he came to Quebec in 1857 and started a lumber business. He was elected to the Canadian House of Commons for the riding of Quebec West in the 1896 federal election and was re-elected in 1900. From 1896 to 1902, he was a Minister without Portfolio in the cabinet of Wilfrid Laurier. He died while still in office of a head injury caused by falling from a horse while in England.

His son, Charles Macpherson Dobell, was a Major General in the British Army.
