Ridgewood High School is a public
high school in
West Lafayette,
Ohio,
United States. It is the only high school in the Ridgewood Local School District.
Ridgewood Local Schools has six buildings. The main hub of the district is in West Lafayette, with one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school, as well as the district administrative buildings. The high school was opened in 2002, and major renovations were also completed in the middle school in that same year. Historically there were three other locations, Fresno, Plainfield, and Bakersville, although all these buildings have now since been closed and sold with all students now attending the centralized schools in West Lafayette. The education offered and facilities available are far superior to any other educational options in the area. Ridgewood High School has fewer than 500 students, due to its location in rural Coshocton County: West Lafayette, with only 2,313 residents at the
2000 census, is the second largest community in the county.
