Saleem Rasheed (born June 15, 1981) is an American and Canadian football linebacker who is currently a free agent.
Rasheed formerly played for the San Francisco 49ers for four seasons in the National Football League. He also played for the Houston Texans during the 2006 NFL season, though was cut during the preseason.
Rasheed played college football for the University of Alabama between 1999–2001.
The Calgary Stampeders signed him on May 7, 2008.
He helped the Stampeders win the 2008 Grey Cup.
On May 4, 2009, he was released.he is still a free agent. but works as a teacher and coach for the erwin high school football team
