San Bruno Station is a Caltrainstation located in San Bruno, California. The station is located just two blocks east of downtown San Bruno, which can be accessed via nearby Sylvan Ave.
Since the circa 1962 the San Bruno Caltrain station has been near the corner of Huntington and Sylvan, but during construction of the BART extension to SFO, the San Bruno station was temporarily moved underneath Interstate 380 on Herman Street, just off Huntington Ave. This station was near Tanforan Shopping Center and the current San Bruno BART station. This relocation allowed construction of the BART subway beneath the San Bruno Caltrain station on its way to the airport. The temporary station was open during 2000-2003, and a newly renovated Caltrain station at the original location reopened in 2003 shortly before completion of the BART extension. The station is built beside Artichoke Joe's Casino.
