Satish Gujral

Satish Gujral (born 25 December 1925) is an Indian painter, sculptor, muralist, graphic designer and architect. He was awarded Padma Vibhushan in 1999.

Personal life and education

Satish Gujral born in Jhelum, Pakistan, which was part of undivided India at that time. His brother is former Indian prime minister Inder Kumar Gujral.At the age of 8, a sickness resulted in impairment of hearing.

Career

Satish is not just a renowned painter but also a scultor, architect, designs murals & a writer. Gujral's work depicts temples and Indian miniatures.He has also designed the Belgium Embassy in New Delhi.

Personal life

Satish Gujral is married to Kiran. His son Mohit Gujral is an architect who is married to supermodel, Feroze Gujral.He also has 2 daughters, Alpana Gujral who is a renowned Jewellery designer & Raseel Gujral who is an Interior Designer and runs the Casa Paradox chain of luxury stores.
