Science Police is a fictional law enforcement agency in the . They were referred to as "World-Wide Police" in their first appearance in the 30th century.Adventure Comics #300 (September 1962) They were featured in a four issue limited series titled Legion Science Police.Legion Science Police #1-4 (August–November 1998) In the 30th and 31st centuries, the Science Police serves the United Planets and has various relations with the Legion of Super-Heroes. In the 21st century, the Science Police serves the federal government of the United States with divisions in Metropolis and Midway City.Superman vol. 2, #677 (August 2008)

Fictional history

In Silver Age continuity, the police force of Superman's home planet Krypton was also called the Science Police. They continued to patrol the bottle city of Kandor after Krypton was destroyed.

30th and 31st centuries

Legion of Super-Heroes liaison Shvaughn Erin, while non-powered, has played a large role on the team in the original and post-Zero Hour continuities, to the point that she has sometimes been referred to as "Liaison Lass".

At the beginning of the "Threeboot" Legion continuity, relations between the Science Police and the Legion were antagonistic, though things have cooled a bit since the Legion was officially recognized by the United Planets.
