Description:
In the lawsuit Seong Sil Kim v. NYCTA, a woman who lay down on subway tracks in an attempt to kill herself was first awarded over $14,000,000 when the train hit her. The NYCTA appealed and the NY Supreme Court ordered a new trial in 2006.
