Shikarpur, Bulandshahr

<!-- See WikiProject Indian cities for details -->Shikarpur is a city and a municipal board in Bulandshahr district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.



Shikarpur is one of the very beautiful town located at 100 K.M. away from Delhi in the direction of east side and is famous for Azadari, Bara khamba, Allama Basheer Hussain Ansari(Fatehey Texila), Allama Hafiz Kifayat Hussian Ansari, Molana Aewaz Ali, Molana Bunyaad Ali Ansari.

Demographics

India census, Shikarpur had a population of 33,130. Males constitute 52.77% of the population and females 47.22%. Shikarpur has an average literacy rate of 50.46%, lower than the national average. male literacy is 59.95%, and female literacy is 39.87%. In Shikarpur, 17.5% of the population is under 6 years of age.This area (Shikarpur) has been established by great Peer Sahab "Abdullah Qutab Bukhari" He was basically from city Bukhara in Iran. He belongs to Muslim Shia religion and his grave is placed near Barakhamba.shikarpur also famous for Jutiyan (JUTI).
