Indian state of
Tamil Nadu.

Sivagiri is located at . It has an average elevation of .
It acquires the major elevation peak from sea level among all other places in this region.
It is located to the south of Erode City, to the North-west of Karur town, to the west of Namakkal town and to the East of Tirupur City.
And also to the west of Kodumudi, The Cauvery River also takes a deep twist in its whole flow from the south towards the east about to the west of Kodumudi.

History
Sivagiri (Siva + Giri) has got its name, since it was a peak during earlier 2000 years, where Lord Shiva has a Temple at the hill found here. Which is now found at the Ground level on-with Sunai Parai(Olden hill), at the centre of the town. Currently the major town concentrates at the Maada(CAR) streets of this temple.
