Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Of Commerce
(S.G.G.S.C.C) is the commerce college of the University of Delhi
. It was founded in 1984 and is named after the tenth Sikh Guru
. It is the second college of commerce of the University of Delhi. The college is primarily a co-educational English medium institution.
The university runs undergraduate
and post-graduate degree
in commerce fields. It is ranked top amongst all other colleges offering Business Economics.
As of 2010, the college has some 1000 students. The Principal is Dr J. B. Singh and the staff are almost exclusively Delhi graduates themselves.
The college provides a blend of resources and environment for all round personality development of its students. Its goals are in consonance with the fact that national economic and commercial relations are becoming so closely interdependent that meaningful vital changes are being introduced with academic curriculum in the centres of higher learning.
Strategically located near the T.V. Tower, Pitam Pura, the college is managed by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, a statutory body, constituted under an Act of Parliament.
